Nordic PPA price barometer

What an average megawatt-hour was worth in each Nordic bidding zone — and what solar and wind actually earned. The capture price is the average day-ahead price weighted by when the plants produced; the capture rate is that price as a share of the average. It is the number a pay-as-produced PPA is priced against.

Prices in €/MWh. Source: ENTSO-E Transparency Platform — day-ahead prices and actual generation per production type. Wind is onshore and offshore combined. “No data” means the technology produced too little in the zone that month for a capture price to mean anything, or ENTSO-E has no data for it. Months run midnight to midnight UTC. Historical market data for information only — not a price offer and not financial advice.
